Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

What is it?

Using the power of your mind, we work together to help you illuminate your own resources and strengths. It's a talking therapy that utilises a deep relaxed state to help you make positive changes to your life.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is based in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and uses techniques from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

It is not the hypnosis used for entertainment (often seen on stage.) Rest assured, you will not have ideas ‘planted’ in your subconscious to do strange or embarrassing things.

Guided Relaxation & Meditation

What is it?

As simple as sitting or lying somewhere comfortable and closing your eyes. I guide you through some top to toe mindful visualisations and peaceful imagery.   We can also discuss some relaxation techniques you can use in your own time.

  • Releases tension from daily life (like a massage for the mind)

Writing for Wellbeing

What is it?

Also called therapeutic and reflective writing. This involves a series of writing invitations (prompts and exercises.) There are some ground rules but also a lot of freedom. You can't get it wrong.

How will it help me?

  • An uplifting space to express and release uncomfortable feelings
